The EXPLORER Series is a well proven and thoroughly tested range of satellite terminals utilizing Inmarsat’s BGAN technology, providing instant and reliable voice and broadband access regardless of time and place.
EXPLORER Series includes four mobile satellite terminals for both portable and vehicular needs and provides a complete communication platform featuring Standard Voice, Premium Voice, Standard IP, Streaming IP and BGAN X-Stream. Additionally, the terminals comes with a wide range of interfaces from ethernet to Bluetooth.
High Performance
The mobile satellite terminals in the EXPLORER Series deliver high performance despite the small size. With data transfer up to 492 kbps and guaranteed streaming rates up to +384 kbps (BGAN X-Stream), e.g. large size files and live video can easily and quickly be sent through the satellite network. And voice calls can be made simoultaneously without blocking the data traffic.

Portable and flexible
EXPLORER Series cover the need for portability as well as flexibility. The Series consists of three highly portable and lightweight terminals (maximum the size of an average laptop) – and one vehicular terminal with a satellite tracking antenna making it possible to stay connected, even while moving at speeds in excess of 200 km/h.
